The Norwegian energy company Eidefoss is extending its partnership with Tietoevry. The new energy data management solution enables the customer to use data for insights to drive business opportunities, secure business operations and manage the energy transition as a renewable energy producer and electricity distribution system owner.
The modernization covers energy industry consultancy with BI and analytics expertise to build an energy data lake covering not only energy production, distribution and retail but also related sources of energy information.
“This is the beginning for us making use of our data for greater overview and control while making it possible to gather analytics and insights to deliver better production of energy and securing electricity distribution in our changing climate and market situation where more and more distributed energy production is brought into the grid to be handled and utilized," says Hans Magne Helland, IT Manager, AS Eidefoss.

With this project, Tietoevry further bolsters its leadership position as provider to the Nordic energy sector, delivering solutions to meet the ever-growing energy data management demands,” says Sturla Winther Johnsen, Business Development Executive, Energy & Utilities, Tietoevry Industry.
